There are 3 steps to Roof Recovery, when making a homeowners claim for roof damage. I will be talking about our first step in the Boise Exteriors, Roof Recovery process.
There are many home owners that have weather damage on their roof and are unaware of it. In these cases, the damage on their roof is caused by acts of nature, like Hail or wind. And sometimes, it's even caused by a heavy snow season, like we have been experiencing locally.

For the last 2 years, we have worked hard to build and maintain our relationships with all the insurance adjusters in the valley. Keeping an open line of communication with the insurance adjusters, has helped understand more about the roof recovery process.

We have a strong understanding of what kind of damage they're looking for when surveying a roof. When we walk your roof, and survey the damage. We look for signs of hail, wind or storm damage throughout the roof and vents. We take several pictures and most importantly we fill out a detailed Observation Report, explaining photos, and damage that we have noticed.

At this point, we will walk you, the homeowner, through the claim filing process with your insurance company. We'll request an adjuster to come out to your property and meet with us for a roof review. We have meetings with adjuster on a weekly basis. And We understand the insurance claim and roof recovery process. Follow us to step 2 and subscribe at

Trusting the Process

Boise Exteriors understands that Finding out that your roof needs to be replaced or repaired can be troubling for many homeowners. Dealing with insurance claims, talking to adjusters and making sure you get reimbursed for all covered damages is a daunting process. Many homeowners are simply unsure about how to file a claim, where the process can be problematic, what types of documentation they need, or what to expect.

We take the guess work out of that and allow you to go about your life. To a home insurance company, the roof is the most important part of your house. It's what provides the ultimate shelter and protects your belongings. It's the gateway to far greater damage claims once it's damaged. There is a payout relative to the roof cover, per the Insurance Institute for Business and Home Safety. Insurance companies review roofing claims very carefully and they expect you to provide proper documentation and other information to process your claim.
